What happens if I copy and paste an image of my signature or seal on a document?

In this case, the document is not digitally signed because the image is only affixed. In other words, the image is not linked in any permanent and secure way to the document. Anyone can alter the document, change the image, etc., in such a way that it would be impossible to tell whether it is the original document or current version. By digitally signing a document, whether it contains images or not, seals it, and therefore preserves the integrity of the information thereby providing a better quality of proof. Moreover, Notarius is an impartial third-party who publishes and updates the information that displays in the digital signature certificate. This information has been certified by the professional association (for their members), or by the organization (for its employees), and as such is trusted information.
