Configure your computer to digitally sign

Prerequisites
Administrative rights on the computer (Contact your IT support if you are not able to install the required software)
The signature appearances files you want to use (Help page to find them: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/where-to-find-a-copy-of-my-signature-appearances-on-my-computer)


When setting up a computer to digitally sign, you will need to follow the process relevant to the product you want to use

  1. CertifiO Desktop – hosted on .epf file or token

    1. With access to the computer where CertifiO Desktop is already configured
    2. With NO access to the previous computer
  2. CertifiO Cloud – hosted on the Notarius secure cloud

 


CertifiO Desktop – hosted on .epf file or token

A. I no longer have access to my previous computer

During this process, we will recover your digital signature certificate (.epf file). Then, we will configure your signature appearances.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download and install de CertifiO Suite
  2. Recover your digital signature (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/how-to-recover-my-digital-signature-certifio-desktop/)
  3. Reconfigure your images with our signature appearances wizard (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/signature-appearances/)

Your digital signature is now set up on your new computer or your additional computer.

B. I have access to a computer where my digital signature is configured

During this process, we will move your digital signature certificate (.epf file) onto your new computer. Then, we will configure your signature appearances.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download and install de CertifiO Suite
  2. Locate your digital signature .epf (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/locate-and-log-into-epf-file/)
  3. Transfer it to your new computer (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/you-changed-computer-what-should-you-do/)
  4. Log in to your .epf file (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/locate-and-log-into-epf-file/#EPF)
  5. Reconfigure your images with our signature appearances wizard (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/signature-appearances/)

Your digital signature CertifiO Desktop is now configured on your new computer or your additional computer


CertifiO Cloud – hosted on the Notarius secure cloud

If you are only using our online signature platform ConsignO Cloud Solo, simply log in on your new computer via an internet browser here.

During this process, we will reconnect your Notarius account to ConsignO Desktop. Then, we will configure your signature appearances.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download and install ConsignO Desktop
  2. Log in to your account on ConsignO Desktop (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/sign-with-certifio-cloud-from-consigno-desktop/)
  3. Reconfigure your images with our signature appearances wizard (Help page: https://support.notarius.com/en/help/kb/signature-appearances/)

Your digital signature CertifiO Cloud is now set up on your new computer or your additional computer.
