Why is Adobe indicating that my signature is invalid?

Adobe is a popular third-part software editor used to view PDF documents and including a function to validate digital signatures.

As any third-part software, Adobe Reader can require a configuration in order to recognize the certification authority for a specific certificate if not in Adobe pre-approved list (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/approved-trust-list1.html).

As you can notice, Notarius is the only organization in Canada member of the AATL* list. However, this is only applicable to our AATL token signature options.
