What is the information that is collected in the application process used for?

The information that you are asked to provide will authenticate should you require a recovery of your digital signature or should you lose your password. Furthermore, part of that information is embedded in your digital signature’s properties on every document you sign, such as:

• For professional digital signatures:
  • Your first name and last name
  • Your member ID
  • The name of your professional association
  • Your work email address
• For corporate digital signatures:
  • Your first name and last name
  • Your work email address
