Consigno Desktop: Error message ‘’failed to create control parts’’ in the template’s window/view

Situation

The template’s window at the lower left handside of ConsignO Desktop is link to a folder.

If the folder containing the templates is renamed or moved, the error message appears:

Resolution

To resolve this situation, you will have to reselect the template’s folder by following these steps:

• Click on Edit > Preferences > Templates > Browse
• Select the default folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\.consigno3\templates) or any other folder of your choice.

• Once the new location is selected, click “Apply and Close” and restart ConsignO.
• The template’s window should now display your templates if you have created any.
